Capital Spreads is a leader in the financial spread betting market, giving retail customers access to a range of financial products, with low margin requirements and tight spreads.
For professional traders, ProSpreads.com provides the fastest, most reliable means of spread betting on major indices, currencies and commodities using Direct Market Access (DMA).
Our Forex services offer access to a choice of multibank portals for institutions and professional traders, while our Derivatives division provides execution services on index, fixed income and single equity products.
We also use our expertise and experience to develop Partnerships and joint ventures with leading international brands including E*TRADE, PaddyPower, Saxo Bank, and Tradefair.
Our history
LCG was founded in London in 1996 as a proprietary trading business and in 2003 the company underwent a major restructuring to become a leading player in financial spread betting with the launch of Capital Spreads.
2005 saw the launch of our institutional Forex operations and the divestment of the proprietary trading business. Following a management buyout in the same year, LCG Holdings was floated on AIM. In 2008, LCG expanded its professional investor customer base with the acquisition of ProSpreads.com, the Gibraltar-based spread betting company.
